Rivers

The rivers helped the Corps to carry supplies.

The Corps had to work against the current.

The rivers gave them water to drink.

They might fall in the river and die.

They could have followed the rivers to the Pacific
but the rivers didn't connect with each other.

If they dropped an important thing in the river
        they might never see it for
the rest of their lives.
