War and Peace
by: Ryan
There was a war over the mountains. The medicine
man asked the Great Spirit to have peace and in three days, everyone will
put up their guns, knives, and arrows. Then there were buffalo, antelope,
crows, bears, beavers, and, ducks. The next day the men went hunting
and it was a good day, and everyone was happy.
War at the Lake
by: Ashley
I was in my Indian camp that is in the mountains.
We ran down to the river because the Great Spirit said, “There is a war
at the lake.” So we got on our horses and went to fight in the war.
That night there was a storm. One of our women got small pox.
So we got the Medicine Man to get the women better. We got war bonnets
and went to camp, and went to bed.

The fort they saw took fifteen and three days to build.
They went back to camp and went to eat a lot of meat. The next summer,
on the day the war ended, there was good and happy peace.
The War over the River
by: Joey
We stayed for three days, and saw the snow ahead of us.
We ran into a very deep snow fort and saw a crow and a snake that we eventually
killed. We ate corn and heard ducks. We went back to the fort
after killing the ducks and we ate duck and crow.

Once upon a time, there were some horse tracks going
through the rivers. When you go past the camp, you will see the deep snow
and the buffalos fighting in the rain. The medicine man will give you some
shooting hearts, some corn, some stars, and some fish. If you look up in
the sky, you will see some bird tracks.
