Cahokia Mounds

On Friday September 27th, the Students of Carl Sandburg Elementary School took a trip to The St. Louis Arch to visit the Museum of Westward Expansion and to view the National Geographic iMAX film about the Lewis and Clark Expedition. M After that we went to Cahokia Mounds to learn more about the Mississippians that used to live in the area. On their journey, Lewis and Clark met the Lakota People and other groups who had always lived in North America.
