Hello!! Welcome to the Team 8: Lincoln's Legacy Project WOW Webpage!! I had a great time this semester learning so much about one of the United States' greatest Presidents Abraham Lincoln!  I am a senior Elementary Education major with a concentration in Social Science.  Project WOW has been a great experience for me since it has opened my eyes to new ways of teaching Social Studies.  On my free time, I love to hang out with my friends and family.  I have one sister, her name is Becky, a dog named Koda, and a REALLYfat cat named Miracle!  I also love to go shopping and be outside on a nice day!  After I graduate, I plan on teaching in the Chicago area.  I one day would like to go back to school to receive my Master's Degree.  Thanks again for visiting our website, I hope you enjoy it!!





Hello! My name is Catherine Nigg. I am so glad I had a chance to participate in WOW my senior year! I really enjoyed teaching about Abraham Lincoln because many times Social Studies is the forgetten subject. We had so much fun and I think we learned as much from the students as they did from us. After student teaching I plan to move to California and teach out there. I am really excited to move out there because the scenery is so beautiful and you can go hiking everyday in the mountains! I enjoy reading and going to the movies. I have two brothers and one sister. I also have a neice and a nephew that I love to hang out with. One day I hope to go back to school and receive my masters. Again I really enjoyed my time participating in WOW and I hope you enjoy the rest of our site!
