| On our first computer lab day at EIU we rated different Abraham Lincoln and Civil War links and also created our paper roughdraft of our concept map! |
| LAB DAY 2 & MINI FIELD TRIPS |
| On our 2nd lab day we got to
listen to two presenters for our "mini fieldtrips", worked on creating
our podcast, and created a concept map using the Inspiration software. |
 Mr. R.L. Miller, lawyer here at EIU, came to present to the children on his profession and some of the hard work which is required to be a successful lawyer. |

 Mr. M. Pickett, EIU student surveyor, also came to present for our mini-field trip to inform students what being a surveyor requires and to show them some of the tools used back then as well as today. |
