The children of team 6 really loved
this website because it was a very kid friendly page about the Civil
War and included links to other resources such as battleground sites,
important people in the civil war, and Civil War books great for early
to middle level readers, as well as a variety of other
topics. This website was also interesting for children because it
had pages for Civil War music, cooking during the Civil War, and real
soldiers letters. |
|
This website was simply a page
dedicated to links to learn more about the Civil War, including
anything from learning about the different weapons used throughout the
Civil War to African American's stories of escaping to freedom.
However, one of the favorite links for the children was Civil War for
Kids which allowed kids to do online activities (such as
fill-in-the-blanks or crosswords), look at real images of Civil
War uniforms, and even read biographies of some of the main Civil
leaders. |

Many different topics of the Civil War
are available from the many links on the website, created especially

different topics covered throughout a Civil War unit, learn how
medicine was used during the Civil War, and lot more great materials
