Eleanor's Early Life

Eleanor Roosevelt had a hard childhood. From the time she was born she felt leftout. Eleanor was born in New York City on Oct. 11, 1884. When Eleanor was 8 years old her mother died. Two years later her father died. When Eleanor was 15 she went to boarding school in England. In England Eleanor was vrey lonely. She met Mademoiselle Souvestre and for the first time in her life, Eleanor felt accepted.
