Achievements of Carl Sandburg

    Carl Sandburg was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his book Abraham Lincoln; The Prairie Years.  Throughout his life, he touched many people around the world with his poetry and significant interest in Abraham Lincoln.  Sandburg dropped out of school twice, once in eighth grade and once in college.  He still became a successful writer with determination that kept him going.
