GSAC would like to congratulate Valerie Penn from the College Student Affairs graduate program on her election as the 2013-2014 GSAC President! Valerie Penn as has served as an active member on our Programming Committee led by VP Programming Jessica McDonald.

The new constitution has passed! CLICK HERE for the newest version of the GSAC constitution adopted and revised on April 16, 2013.

Administrative Activities: With our VP of Administrative Activities, this committee works on our constitution, allocates committees appointments, serves as a liaison with student government, and other duties as assigned.
Budget: Want more experience in creating and maintaining a budget? Are you great with numbers? This committee works with our student dean on our budget and quality of life survey.
Orientation: This at large committee works with the President to create a unified orientation process for graduate students to assist with the acclimation to the university, graduate life, and local Charleston community
Outreach: Members in this committee will work with the VP of Public Relations to develop the bi-semester newsletter, create marketing materials for GSAC, monitor and update social media venues, and website design.
Programming: This committee will work with the VP of of Programming to create and implement social, volunteer, fundraising, and professional development opportunities for the graduate student community.
