Chicago - Home
of Hull House
Hull House was founded to take care of immigrants in
the
community. Jane provided the immigrants with a place to live,
food to eat, and an education. Hull House offered many classes
and activities including English, art, music, sports, daycare, and much
more.

Jane traveled overseas to talk to the leaders of the countries to convince them not to go to war. Although Jane was unsuccessful, she never gave up. Even when others criticized her she fought for what she believed in.
