The Academic Challenge event is a high school competition that was created and conducted annually by the Univerity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Engineering WYSE Outreach Program for about 40 years. Although the operation of the competition has been discontiued by UIUC, Eastern Illinois University will be continuing to run the competition with the assistance of many othe institutions throughout Illinois and Missouri.

COACHES: Registration is open! Registration is a two step process. First, select registration from the Coaches pull down menu and you can register as a coach. To give some protection to the data, you will be verified either through informaiton from past competitions or by contacting your school. Once you have been verified, you will receive an email within 72 hours with a PIN that you will need to enter the first time you login. You may then register your team and have access to the exam archive.

Please look at the schedule. There are a good fraction of last year's regional and sectional competitions that have either decided to no longer host a competition or have not yet responded with a competition date. We are working on getting replacement sites and alternate plans for those competitions. If you know of any institutions in your region that might consider hosting a competition, please let us know.
