As a database administrator (DBA), you will need to backup your datafiles on regular basis. Thus, it is important for you to know which datafile is used to store certain tables. The following will be a scenario related to your work with chapter 10. Please run the script chap10.sql before you answer the questions.

 

1. How do you find out which tablespace is used for table "salesreps?"

2. How do you find out which datafile is used to store data for the above tablespace?
