TEC 5323 Advanced Database Technology

Ways to Post Technical Problem/Difficulty through the WebCT Discussion Board
(For Student-Initiated Discussion)

If you have any technical difficulty/problems related to this course, for example, difficulty for installing Oracle software, you may use the following steps to post it on WebCT Discussion Board. Every students in the class are responsible for providing assistance.

  1. Log on to the TEC 5323 class web site.  See the Welcome Letter for instruction details.
  2. Log on to your WebCT desktop and click on the discussion board icon. 
  3. Double click the Week #: Problem and Solutions. # represents the number of the week.
  4. Click "Compose Discussion Message."
  5. Type your problem/question in Subject.
  6. Provide as much details as possible in the message body.
  7. After you make sure the message is complete, click "Post."

Please have one posting for each different problem/question. In other words, if your problem/difficulty is different from those posted previously, compose another one.

Please note that even when you do not have any problems/difficulty, everyone in this course is required to participate in "Problems and Solutions" every week. Otherwise you will lose 100 points for the week.
