Anthony M Sorcic

Mr. Anthony M. Sorcic worked as Technical Service Manager for Holcim (US) Inc., since 1988. He co-wrote a CD Training Module for "Ready Mixed Concrete," and "Specifications for Roller Compacted Concrete in Terminal and Plant Operations" for use within the Holcim system. He is a member of the American Concrete Institute International, (ACI) who serves on many of their committees such as ASTM C13 - Concrete Pipe, ACI 325 - Concrete Pavements, ACI 325 C - Roller Compacted Concrete, ACI 325 A - Design and Construction (Pavement), ACI 346 - Cast-In-Place Concrete Pipe, ACI 305 - Hot Weather Concrete, besides his membership in the ACI Central Texas Chapter. His memberships also include the Texas Aggregate and Concrete Association, where he is a member of the Specification Committee, and the Slag Cement Association (SCA), where he serves as the Chairman of the South Central Regional Task Group. Mr. Sorcic served for four years in the United States Navy (1976-1980). He received his B.Sc. in Industrial Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1992. He is married to Debbie and they have two sons Joshua (19) and Eric (14).

Peter Bohme, Manager Technical Service for Holcim (US) Inc. within the Marketing Department, with Twenty two years industry related experience in ready-mixed concrete and cementitious products. Degrees include BS, Civil Engineering and Marketing.
