Our Project WOW Mini Field Trip was getting the
chance to
listen to Dr. Atkins tell about his job as a Park Ranger at Rocky
Mountain National Park.
Dr. Atkins has served as a Park Ranger for many years, and now, even
during his retirement, Dr. Atkins volunteers many hours to the park.
We enjoyed listening to Dr. Atkins explain his job, which is to take
people on tours of the park and tell them all about the park. The
children also enjoyed listening to Dr. Atkins tell about about nights
he spent in the National Park, with no more shelter than a sleeping bag.
