Field Trip
On April 15, 2005, the Project WOW! students and teachers embarked on a journey to explore significant areas along the Lewis and Clark Expedition route. The students enjoyed exploring Cahokia Mounds even climbing to the top of Monks's Mound-the tallest earthen mound created by man.  The troops then visited Camp Dubois, the site where Lewis and Clark spent one of the long, cold winters while journeying across America.  Everyone had the opportunity to explore and learn more about the Lewis and Clark Expedition.  The journey was a wonderful learning experience for all!
