1941:     Marilyn Burns was born in Brooklyn, New York.

1953:     Moved to Long Island, New York.

1958:     Moved to Syracuse, attended Syracuse University.

1962 - 1964:     Taught in F.W. Clary Jr. High in Syracuse, New York.

1965:     Moved to California.

1965-1984:     Taught Math in a classroom in California.

1984:     Formed the Marilyn Burns Associates.

1996:     Won the Glenn Gillbert National Leadership Award.

1997:     Won the Louise Hay Award.

2001:     Volunteer teacher in Mill Valley, California.
