1892-Her mother dies and she is sent to live with her grandmother

1905-Eleanor comes back to U.S. and marries Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
1912-Attends convention and Joins Red Cross

1919-She volunteers at St. Elizabeth's Hospital
1920-Women are granted the right to vote; Eleanor joins the League of Women Voters
1928-The President declares that the U.S. is closer than ever before to ending poverty
1929- The stock market crashes causing the Great Depression.  Eleanor starts food lines to help those without jobs
1935-Eleanor begins writing "My Day"
1941-WWII starts
1945-WWII ends
1946-Mrs. Roosevelt begins working with the United Nations and helps write the Declaration of Universal Rights
1962-Eleanor Roosevelt dies of T.B.
