Dr. Steven Daniels
Steven Daniels is a Physics professor as well as Department Chair at Eastern Illinois University. A sampling of the various activities Dr. Daniels has participated in during his career is that Dr. Daniels has been a rocket scientist for NASA, he has worked on a nuclear energy project for the Department of Energy, he has worked on problems related to ordinance as well as nuclear batteries for the Department of Defense, and has studied solar flares using a Navy satellite. Dr. Daniels came to EIU in 1991. His area of interest now is optics with specific interest in lasers. He received his BA degree from Swarthmore College and his MS and PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland. He also received an MBA from EIU. |
