Project WOW ** Black Hawk Team
 
    Through this experience our team learned many new things about Chief Black Hawk.  At the very beginning we did not know who Chief Black Hawk was.  We learned who he was and what contributions he made for Illinois and the Sauk tribe.  Chief Black Hawk was a leader.  He fought for his people's rights.  Chief Black Hawk wanted freedom, a home for his people, and overall,  just a better life for his tribe.

    Amanda was one of the members in our team.  She chose Black Hawk because she thought he would be a cool person to learn more about.  A few of Amanda's hobbies are playing outside with her friends, playing with her dog Bingo, and watching her favorite movie Mrs. Doubtfire.

    Lee was another member in our team.  He chose Black Hawk because he thought he was a cool person to learn more about, just like Amanda.  A few of Lee's hobbies are playing with his friends, playing baseball, and playing video games.
