Meet the Team

    Hi! My name is Kim and I am a senior at Eastern Illinois University.  I have greatly enjoyed working with the students on our Project WOW team.  We have done many fun activities and learned a lot, together, about Marilyn Burns.  Each of the third graders that I had the opportunity to work with have very unique qualities that make them special and it was a pleasure to get to know them.
    In the spring I will begin my student teaching in Decatur.  I will be graduating in May and hopefully have my own classroom in the fall.  I look forward to teaching students just like the ones I have had the experience with this semester.
    I live in Shelbyville with my husband and our dog, Duke.  I have a part-time job at Shelby Memorial Hospital as a file clerk.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, doing crafts, and drag racing with my husband.
    Again it was such a pleasure to be a part of Project WOW.  Wow, what an experience!
 
 

    My name is Dea Donzal!  I am a senior at Eastern Illinois University.  I am in my last semester of school and will be student teaching in the spring.  I am originally from the Chicagoland area.  My hometown is a west suburb of Chicago called Melrose Park.
    I will be returning home to complete my student teaching.  Most of my family lives in the Chicagoland area.  I come from a family of six: 3 boys and 3 girls.  I am an aunt, I have one nephew and two nieces.
    I had a fun time learning about Marilyn Burns during Project WOW, it was a great learning experience working one on one with the third grade students.
