Objectives of Week 1

  1. Understand basic concepts of database.
  2. Understand the roles of database management systems.
  3. Understand Oracle fundamentals.
  4. Understand Oracle database server editions.
  5. Be able to download the Oracle database based upon your own hardware and operating system.
  6. Be able to install a typical Oracle database management system.
