Abraham Lincoln lived in this log cabin near Charleston, Illinois
until he was 20 years old.  He worked hard on the farm
raising farm animals and building log cabins for other people.


This house is in Springfield, Illinois, and is the only house
that Abraham Lincoln ever owned.  He raised his family here
and worked very hard being a good lawyer.


With hard work and dedication, Lincoln finally moved
to the White House in Washington, D.C.  He lived here
while he led our country through the Civil War.
