The Cheyenne Indian Page

The Cheyenne Indians lived in Canada a long time ago.  They migrated to live along the Missouri River.  After living here for a long time, they moved into Montana.   This is where they live now.
When the Lewis and Clark expedition reached the Montana area, they traded with many different Indian peoples including the Cheyenne Indians.  They traded for things like: Spanish horses & mules, leather clothing, baskets of fruits and vegetables, and buffalo hides.
The Cheyenne Indians performed a sundance.  They had a flag that was blue and white.  They believed that the eagle was their brother.
