Facts About the Eagle

        The bald eagle eats fish.  The Indians believed that the eagle was a brother.  The eagle is an endangered species found in America.  An eagle nail can be up to four inches long.  The eagle wingspan can be three feet to eight and a half feet.  The eagle can be found on: quarter, the Illinois flag, stamps, passports, and the Sacagawea golden coin.  The Native Americans have pictures of the eagle on their weapons and instruments.  An eagle can also be found on an Indian teepee.
